What is it about changing your sheets that makes you feel like you’re changing your life?

I would like to fix my typewriter, and then perhaps have a habit of letting people write short stories into it, or maybe just stream of consciousness sort of things, that would just be left with no title or signature. Eventually have a little pile of writings, and maybe bind them. Volume One: type writer blues or type writer tales. My type writer is blue.

old year
i used to do this when i was younger and home from college for new years. catalogued everything in the year, a couple hours before midnight, to take my mind away from the fact that i was at home with my parents for new years and not doing anything cool. now that my memory is shot w old age…
